I have got a customer PC wich send me some data with different first characther and total lenth

For Example , each line is a different message sent by pc

A 31 44625 CRLF
B 46 44759 1230 3450 11 11 2012-05-27_12-11-01 CRLF
C 03 44744 1234 0000 12345678 CRLF
A 32 44725 CRLF

just for trial
I can listen these messsages if i use an laptop ,hyper terminal TCP ethernet connection (port,IP)
each line comes when message received.

when i insert CP 443-1 instead of hyper terminal and
configure TCP connection and
use funcions like FC6 AG_RECV or fC60 AG_LRECV

i receive P#DB6.DBX100.0 BYTE 50 characters when ever configured lenth (BYTE 50) is receivet at all.

and first character actually comes vith an unpredictable offset.

for example (each line is different message)

44625 CRLF A 31 44625 CRLF A 31 44625 CRLFA 31 44625 CRLF
A 31 44625 CRLF B 46 44759 1230 3450 11 11 2012-05-27_12-11
-01 CRLF A 31 44625 CRLF B 46 44759 1230 3450 11 11 2012-05
-27_12-11-01 CRLF B 46 44759 1230 3450 11 11 2012-05-27_12-11-

is there anything i can do in order to
receive each message separately
receive messages without offset characters
(just like hyper terminal receives data)

i don't know if you have seen this sample

transferring data (with FC5 "AG_SEND" and FC6 "AG_RECV") with variable message lengths via the TCP protocol

who solves your problem.

i dont thing i am receiving the lenth of string in to the first two byte. but will try it .
i know i am receiving the last characters as CR LF

if it possible to read the lenth it will also possible to transfer the data to a any variablewith known bytes number.
but what if you just once miss the lenth ... all data will bebroken.

what about initialization and restartingcommunication.

what is that hyper terminal doing and CP 431 cannot do?
