TCP/IP or UDP to send data from S7-400

nicola.bertoni Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi at all.. I have an example that send data with TCP/IP to my project in visual basic. In visual basic i use the winsock. I send the package to the PLC and this response me with the value that i want. But this type of communication is not faster because i need send before recive.. I would i connection in plc that send data and from my project in visual basic i need only to recive data with winsock.. Have you some example of this.. Like send message in multicast or broadcast..

This updates the data periodically (eg. 200ms) and the visual basic project as OPC client load the data from the OPC server. You need SOFTNET-LEAN.
