pici_c Posts: 80 Rating: (2)	Hi Everybody, I have seen, that there are a lot of posts in this topic, but i haven't seen examples, just advices to read manuals. I have an urgent work to do and i would like to ask you to help me. the task is: i have to send about 400 bytes from the CPU to a PC. The IP address of the CPU is 192.168.126.100, the IP address of the PC is 192.168.126.50. The 400 byte starts form the DB1.DBX 0.0 and i have to store the answer frm the PC (about 50 bytes) to the DB3.DBX 10.0 I am using CPU 313C-2 DP and CP 343-1 LEAN. I have finished the other part of the projekt, but I havent programmed any TCP/IP communication. If somebody have some free time to create an example how to do it, I would be greatful, especialy, if it is in LAD, because the wole projekt is in LAD. thanks for helping me out!! pici_c

Generating the Connection Data for the open TCP/IP Communication using the Open Communication Wizard If you use another CPU with a Communication Processor then there a lot of examples.... see the links of J_Bell and a lot of others.

Here is an example VB6 progrma which I had found free on the net. Give a good idea how to create a Winsock connection. You can also import into the latest VB.Net (although it is not so efficient as it can be). We use this to test our programs on the PLC side. pici_c Posts: 80 Rating: (2)	Hi Krish! I am using a normal TCP send program, which was written by my college. That program does"t have to know, that the receiver side is a PLC, it just sends a TCS message to an IP address, but thanks for the program anyway, I will check it! pici_c

But on that page, there is a link for an example, that I have downloaded, but the simatic says, that windows in german region and language settings can open it. i have changed it in my windows, but still a i cannot open it. Cuold somebody resave it, so i could open it in Hungary please thanks!!! pici_c

Hello Krish, Thanks for your programat first. But I have some question when used the "Winsock Tester v0.0.6". Please give me some advices. I used How do you program the communication blocks FC5 and FC6?this example and your program to make the test. After config the PLC, I used mylaptop ping the PLC(CPU 315-2 DP + CP343-1 IT),Itis OK. Then I open Winsock Tester v0.0.6 and run it to connectto PLC, then it give me "Connected on 192.168.0.59 - 80 Connecting to 192.168.0.32 - 2000 Connected to 192.168.0.32 - 2000 0 - Winsock Err #10053 - Connection is aborted due to timeout or other failure" the 192.168.0.59 is IP of my laptop,192.168.0.32 is IP of PLC. Could you give some info. Thanks!
