Dear All Experts of SIEMENS MOTION CONTROL, Motion control with me is NOT familiar. i read more manual of motion control but i am really not good with Synchronous Axis. I HOPE the Expert forum can help me more. i am doing the project with scope control: the plant have existing Roller. Now they need to add one more New Roller. So that, i need NEW ROLLER must synchronous (speed&position) with existing roller VIA EXTERNAL EnCODER. Hardware of Project: 1. PLC CPU 1511T-1 PN 2. SINAMICS S210 FOR A ROLLER SERVO (new roller) 3. PROFINET ENCODER MODULE (for read EXTERNAL ENCODER) My target: use technology "external encoder" as master to make the new Roller Axis synchronous about Position and Velocity. (ex: external encoder at position 250mm, then Roller Axis also at 250mm. it mean "new Roller axis" must same position with "position External Encoder" all time). i am developing follow: - Use "MC_GEARINPOS". Master "ExternalEncoder Axis" and Slave " Synchronous new Roller Axis". - Execute: always on i am really not sure about what it is possible work? 1. the Concept Design technology work? it is mean, can i use "External Encoder technology" to make "new Roller Axis" synchronous (position&speed) all time. Existing Roller New Roller same Position and Speed all time. 2. If Concept possible WORK, CAN I SIMULATION HOW IT WORK BY PLCSIM?
