Hello All, can please help for temperature compensation in 840D sl system. i got some procedures From DOcon CD. please find the attached file. in this how we can Edit md 43910 (axis setting data) this parameter from plc. any one have other procedure for temperature compensation in 840D sl

how we can Edit md 43910 (axis setting data) this parameter from plc. ==> If i understand this parameter this belongs to Axis Specific Setting Data...not from PLC.... Regards, Prakash |

Hello mr prakash, Thanks for your replay. please find the attached file on my 1st post.in that 3 page last paragraph is "The formula given above must be used in the PLC user program to calculate the coefficient tanβ (T) which corresponds to the measured temperature; this must then be written to the following NCK setting data: SD43910 $SA_TEMP_COMP_SLOPE (gradient for position-dependent temperaturecompensation) According to the example above: SD43910 $SA_TEMP_COMP_SLOPE = 0.000132" So my doubt is how we can write this parameter from plc.
