Temperature regulation by a linear equation in Logo

matkosi Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hi, guys... Has anyone worked with temperature regulation using a linear equation in Logo? We have one temperature sensor (0-50 ° C) and a exhaust fan (0-100%). The fan runs at a minimum speed of 20% and when the temperature reaches the range of 30°C to 40°C, the fan accelerates. If temperature reaches 40°C, fan rotates at 100% speed. When the temperature drops below 30°C, the fan speed goes down. Kind Regards, Matija

Is the description of an existing fan control and you want linear control? How do you record the temperature value for the LOGO !? Do you have a PT100 and an AM2 RTD module? Do you have an AM2 AQ module to specify a setpoint? I am missing clear information ...

Well, it's a small system with a few separate rooms and each has a temperature sensor and exhaust fan. Each exhaust fan is controlled via temperature sensor in this room. Sensors in rooms are QAA2061 and it's connected directly on AI1, AI2, ... Exhaust fan SP is controlled from AM2 AQ module. I'm trying to avoid PI controllers if it is a possible.

Is possible to make, when temperature reach 40°C and exhaust fan is running on 100%, that exhaust fan will be running on 100% until temperature reach 30°C and then exhaust fan is decelerating from 100 to 20% until temperature reach 26°C. Then you asked if you could use a PI controller. Then I replied that you cannot do linear control with a PI controller and asked yourself whether you would like a purely linear control. You answered yes. I have created an example for you for this. Now you want to have a function that you described similarly at the beginning. Why didn't you answer this when I asked you about it at the beginning?
