according to your response o forum for scaling a pt100 we have to try this :

:FDG                  // Convert to floating point.

:-G                   // Result in floating point.
:GFD                  // Convert to fixed point.

so its a question here that how u can determine the difference between 0-150 and 0-200 degree centigrade transmitter (4-20ma) ?

my cpu is:

6es5-928-3ub11

would u help me ?

if you use FC105 (from standard library) you must set that values in HI_LIM and LO_LIM

 FC105 is for S7 CPU not for S5.

to understand analog input conversion you have to read pag 9-24 of S5-135 system manual.

With standard pt100 range (pag.9-26) 1 unit is 0,26°C.

If you have 4-20mA temperature transducer input range is 2560-512=2048 unit (pag.9-28).

Attached screenshot of my old s5 conversion block.

Difference between scale limits is divedeb by 2048.

Result (value for 1 unit) is multiplied by input units.

Instruction SLW-SRW is to get rid of aux bits (sign-overflow-error).

If something is not clear please ask again.

• as you see i can not monitor the temperature on centigrade, as a solution siemens suggest me how to see the temperature on centigrade in this way:

as i know in s7 in fc105 and in hi-l and low-l  u can choose it . so what about s5 cpu ?

yess . i could see the temperature but you know whats my problem now? IF i have some pt100 which are wired by 4-20MA (0-150c) transducer and in the other hand some of them were wired by 4-20MA(0-200c) ! so how u can change the program for monitoring of exact  temperature?

as i know in s7 in fc105 and in hi-l and low-l  u can choose it . so what about s5 cpu ?

 In my previous post i add an attachment with the screenshot of a block to convert analog input in KG (float) value.

If you create a new FB252 you can use it to convert 4-20mA input (same of FC105 in s7).

Parameter XE is the PW

Parameter XA is the DW where to write temperature value

Parameter LSUP and LINF are max and min scale (150-0 or 200-0 or everythig else).

You have only to call FB252 in your program passing correct parameter.
