Old style thermostat switches power on when the temperature is lower than the setpoint and switch power off when the temperature is higher than the setpoint. Is this the way you want your control to work? What type of switchgear are you using? Mechanical contactors would not like short burst switching. An electrical diagram with some specifications would be most welcome to fill my curiosity.. if you do not mind sharing. I leave it to @ix065 to respond as he sees fit.
