Text tag not writing

matholton Posts: 37 Rating: (0)	Hi there, I'm currently upgrading a VB app that reads/writes to tags to C# and I've run into a problem. For some reason I cannot write to Text Tags - I can read and write to Floating Point number tags okay it's just Text tags that are the problem. I've gone back to the old VB app and that, too, suffers the same problems. I CAN write to text tags that are NOT connected to the PLC (ones that are local),. This suggests to me that the problem is something to do with WinCC or the PLC. I am using the S7-PLCSIM software, so not currently using a real PLC. Please help me :-) Mat
