thank you so much how to connect two FB(I write them myself) together and how the FB with its DB works?

Happy donkey Hello happydonkey, The strategy you are looking for is possible in CFC and it is really helpful.To couple the outputs of FC to inputs of FBs, use the input parameters of FB strored in the instant DB.For that , assign "RSnew_DB.y" to "R"output parameter of FC140. I think this is efficient and you use all available resources and using extra local memory saved. Please try it in TIA Portal and update it here.It is applicable in STEP 7. Ton Verra Gold Member Joined: 4/20/2007 Last visit: 1/30/2023 Posts: 710 Rating: (39)	In your case you could also directly write the value from the FC140, by exchanging #y with the DB1 adress used by your FB (DB1.DBX0.0 I assume) Also, just in case. You know FC's do not retain their values from scan to scan?
