The alarm of the motor encoder

But when the fault happen,the machine is still ok, but when we reset the fault, the machine emergency stop, why? In the attachment how do you think the alarm ,is the reason of not good connection or EMC? And in the attachment "help for event" what does "Acknowledge : pulse inhibit" mean? I think the fault (no.31115) will acknowledge automatic, is that right? And what does the"pulse enabled" mean? Can somebody help me? Best Regards!!! Attachment details.pdf (350 Downloads)

Fault 31115 points to a sin/cos encoder with 1 Vpp signals. This is a very sensitive encoder system regarding EMC influences. We would not recommend using slip rings with 1 Vpp encoder systems. AutoGen_369883 ... I think the fault (no.31115) will acknowledge automatic, is that right? ... No, you can acknowledge this fault only when the inverter pulses are inhibited. AutoGen_369883 ... And what does the"pulse enabled" mean? ... This means the inverter pulses for the PWM output signal are enabled - the inverter is in operation.
