Error when down loading to device HMI KTP400.
I changed the language from "English (United States) to 
English (South Africa) and now I get this error 
",HmiRuntimeSettingsData: The logging language is invalid.
" when trying to load the data to the HMI. I have tried to 
revert back, changed languages every where I can and 
nothing helps. Please advise.

I have exactly the same issue, using WinCC Advanced Update 3.

Did you already find a way to fix it?

"solved" it:

What I tried:

reboot TIA -> didn't help

reboot windows -> didn't help

Copied my project to try something:

Copied my HMI device.

Deleted HMI_1 (original one)

reconnected the Profinet on HMI_2 (new one)

Compiled PLC_1 and HMI_2. -> no warnings / errors.

Tested in "Simulation Mode". Everything seems to work!

Not really a smooth solution, but at least I can use my project again.

Try do a compile rebuild all

If you are facing the issues while running the simulation but it get aborted or not downloaded then something is password protected in your program. Simulation only works with password free logic.
