Sorry to hack into this topic. Trying to setup communication between Sepam and a 1200 PLC, but the adressing is a little bit confusing to me. The Sepam uses HEX (FE: 0113 for Current), while the 1200 uses 40001 and up. How did you set this up? Thank you!

I am trying to send tripping remote control order to Sepam S40 via the Modbus RTU communication link. Also I am using S7 1200 v4.1 PLC with CB 1241 RS485 to communicate with the Sepam. When I sent TC1 (Tripping, address word 00F0 = 1) nothing happens (normally open binary output 01 does not close). I successfully change setting groups A and B this way (TC3 and TC4, address word 00F0 = 4 and 8 respectively) and reseting (TC5). I can control the binary outputs to the switchgear with binary inputs, but I have to do it via Modbus.

Hi all!

We got this working today, clue is just to add 40001 to the addresses provided.

So, for current. HEX 0113 = DEC 275. Is 40276 as input into the Siemens FB.
