Hi ddg, Check page 13-72 and 13-73 of the manual for this. Link to the manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/28392477 Important is the characteristic of your loadcell (1, 2, 4 mV / V), and maximum resistance. The internal resolution is 65536 parts. Best Regards, SonicRanger. |

Dear ddg, Yes, you can use the Schenk RTN load cell(s) withthe Siwarex U module. You have to set into Siwatool the parameter“Characteristic value” to 4mV/V, because the Sensitivity is 2.85mV/V. Best regards Siwarexi |

Hi Siwarexi / SonicRanger, We are commissioning the batch house with Schenk RTN load cell(s) withthe Siwarex U module. Thanks for your contribution. Now I am having with some queries
As the proposed max mV will be within 8 mV can we configure the channel as 2mV/V.? I think in this case the accuracy will be in a higher side.
L PIW 698 // Raw count from Siwarex U T DB1.DBW 12 //.. L DB1.DBD10 // RAW count in S7 Now in a weigh hopper when we select 4mV/V it is showing near13000 counts and for 2mV/V it’s near 23000. As per our thinking the count equation for 2mV/V is 2427 + (X*Y) For 4mV/V is 2427 + (Z*Y) Where Y= mV from load cell X=2Z
Please ensure our view With best regards ddg |

Hello ddg, 1. Your calculation is correct: The signal voltage is maximal 7.77mV with a total weight (hopper + material) of 10 tons. You can select the channel as 2 mV/V. 2. I’m not really happy with your count equation. Attached you can find my Excel calculation for the digit values. Best regards Siwarexi Attachmentdigits.zip (820 Downloads) |
