Obenam Posts: 49 Rating: (0)	Hi I have Problem with opening a written project by WinCC v6.2 that is executable on others PCs.When I try to open it,this error occure: "The user does not have rights to perform this action!Please check the assignment of the current user of the user groups in windows." I checked it and my user was defined in SIMATIC HMI and SIMATIC HMI VIEWER.I searched internet but I couldn't find any solution.It's interesting that I can open and activate a sample project that I downloaded it form siemens site!!!Please help me to find the solution. Tubbie Posts: 52 Rating: (3)	hi there, the problem is, the windows user groups for wincc are ranked. the lowest rank is simatic hmi viewer (with nearly no rights...only view wincc) next simatic hmi cs (more rights, wincc can be modified) then simatic hmi (something like administration level of wincc with all rights) the group simatic hmi is administration level. if your user is in viewer & cs group only the rights of this group decide what actions can be performed and which can not. although the user is in the "simatic hmi" group. the lowest group counts and set the rights for the user so kick the user out off the group "simatic hmi viewer" and it should work. regards tubbie

Obenam Posts: 49 Rating: (0)	Hi Iadd my user in any groups of user group and as Tubbie said I remove it of HMI viewer group but no chang appear.It's Friday and here is holiday,but as soon as I can check the computer i'll list all user groups of my computer. Regards. Behnam

CBo Gold Member Joined: 4/5/2006 Last visit: 6/16/2022 Posts: 917 Rating: (62)	Hi Obenam, sometimes happens you are nt able to open project when you move it from irugnal statio to other one; usually when you make a copy over CD. When you restore the project from CD it's still keeping Read Only attribute (dunno why). If it's your case try to remove every read only atribute from project files by Windows Explorer, just for test. Regards

My user is a member of Administrators, Network configuration operators, Power Users, Users, SIMATIC HMI and SQLServer groups. I forgot to say that I haven't install SIMATIC S7 on my computer yet and the project use external tags of S7. Could this error because of that? Or it should open the project??? To do this, you have to attach the configuration database in the MS SQL Server Management Studio. Then delete some entries in the table "dbo.CC_Prj_Options", the "UserInterfaceMode.TIA" and all starting with "S7...". Regards Georg Berghof Attachment TIA_Flag.jpg (383 Downloads)
