we have S7-300 with CP343-1 for simulate test, should be similar for both CP343-1 and CP443-1. Thank you |

Hello suradet; Here is an application note from CTI showing how do configure a TCP/IP data exchange between a CP 343-1 and a CP 2572: 2572 Send/Receive Application Example - Control Technology Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier Edit: my apologies, I did not read the original post with enough attention, I missed the fact that youare working on a CP 1434. Sorry D.C. |

Hi, It is difficult to tell what your problem is because it may be in the code. I have attached the CP1434 TCP manual. Chapter 6 has a send/receive example between the 505 and an S7.Compare the example code to the code you have in the PLCs. In this post: /tf/WW/en/Posts/97847#top I uploaded the CP1434-TCP configuration software if you need it to check the module configuration. Good Luck. billwest AttachmentE:\pdf\PLC\505\505 CP1434-TCP.pdf (720 Downloads) |

Hi Suradet, Your CP1434 card is quite old and outdated. I would suggest a more modern communication method by means of Modbus TCP. This is supported by S7 PLC and CTI 2572-A Ethernet card which you can use in your TI505 PLC. Please see attached application note for configuration example. Regards, Carlo PS: Dchartier is right, you could also use CTI 2572 card, but this card has become obsolete, better is to use 2572-A card.
