PDGANGANI Posts: 165 Rating: (19)	Hello everyone, Is it possible to open backup in TIA 11 in TIA 12. And viceversa modified backup in TIA 12 can open in TIA 11 ??? Because sometimes availablity of programming device not possible to get TIA 11 laptop or PC.

One thing that can be done is u create ur project in V11 and open it in V12 , dn't migrate the project. Whatever changes u r doint u do in V12 and save it. It will save as V11 only. After that same thing u can open in V11 also.

0_Einstein Diamond Expert Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 3/10/2025 Posts: 15721 Rating: (2487)	One important point to consider: V12 SP1 is required to use V11 program in V12 and then again later in V11. V12 without SP1 will corrupt the V11 program to the point that only V12 can open it again.
