TIA 15.1 Update 4 simulation not starting

MrcCristian Experienced Member Joined: 9/3/2018 Last visit: 4/15/2024 Posts: 26 Rating: (1)	Hello guys, A few hours ago i updated TIA 15.1 to update 4 and now the Runtime Simulation or Runtime do not start on my ES station. If i download to OS station it's ok .This problem persists also on my colleague ES station so i think it's something from the update.... Do any of you have this problem ? Is there a way to fix it ? Is there a way to downgrade TIA to update 3 ? Please do not suggest to reinstall TIA ... we all know how long that takes ... Thanks. Attachment Screenshot (19).png (212 Downloads)

Since I updated the software to TIA V15.1 Update 4, Runtime simulation and Runtime do not start. This happens only for RT Professional systems: I can start simulation of RT Advanced, of a PLC or of a HMI device. The TIA Software Updater says that the software is up to date. I'm using SIMATIC NET V16 and Windows 10 Pro. I noticed that the Wincc License Analysis window is empty, but all licenses in Automation License Manager are in place. Do you have tried a repair installation? Ho do you update to the Upd4? by Automation Software updater? if yes then try to use the manual download of the Upd from Support sites. Bye Murof

There was no Error message shown, just the Project status of the WinCC RT was 'Opening' for long time but the project was not starting. Installing SIMATIC NET V15.1 solved the problem.

Time between Acivating Runtime Services and Succesuful Started Runtime about 5 minutes. I have installed Simatic Net 15 SP 1 (link above), but no result. Is it necessary to make some action with Simatic Net or just need to install it? EDIT: Solved. There was chosen incorrect Network Card in Simatic Shell Setting. Works without Simatic Net.

I have verified that this occurs when I have the ehternet port disconnected, if I have it connected it starts normally. What could be the problem?
