TIA does not complete the compilation of the HMI and warns me with the following error: *"The compilation failed. Contact Siemens local support"* see attachment... What do i do now? qwazee Platinum Member Joined: 3/30/2020 Last visit: 4/24/2025 Posts: 5080 Rating: (1038)	0) Make a backup ZAP file of what you have now 1) Attempt a "rebuild" on the hardware and software; for the PLC and the HMI. 2) If (1) does not help, follow the idea mentioned here: How do you delete the IM folder of your TIA project?

I exit TIA and it crashes... can't attach the crash file because the forum doesn't accept the extension... I sent it to Siemens I attach crash screenshot Attachment crash.jpg (532 Downloads)

Roby I am assuming that you are running the software with admin rights. First check if your security software (antivirus) did not quarantine some files that it should not have. (Check that you do not have someone attempting a randsom hack.) One of two options: 1) Restore from a Windows Restore Point. This assumes some installation of Windows or another application created this problem. 2) Run update 8 again. There should be an option to repair. Use that option. Notice that this forum is not an official Siemens support. Feel welcome to use the "Support Request" web link when you get to the point that you need official support. Most of their support is for free. Use Siemens' support service if you need help and volunteers' reaction is not fast enough.

Microsoft Defender Antivirus has found some suspicious files.. yesterday I did some cleaning to the PG M6 and I also installed the 2H22 version of windows 11... I don't want to go back with a restore point...many things have been done...I prefer to fix TIA 15.1...somehow I will also because the Siemens softwares are all original :) Now I use another PC a little slower but that's fine... I'll put everything in order calmly It still remains to be understood if the problem may have been the update of windows 11 to version 2H22 See you soon Thanks again
