rdh68 Member Joined: 10/4/2019 Last visit: 12/24/2024 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	using tia wincc pro v16- with pc station-ip general-connection to s7 1200 good- can control from my pc station good- after i add another comm driver- allen bradley ethernet/ip- i enter ip address- so how do i find in my project and connect to the ab plc so i can select my tags to apply to my pc screen- i am connected to a siemens s7 1200 thur ethernet- i can add my tags and objects to my WinnCC pc general connection-create a screen and apply my buttons and numeric data entries to control my siemens plc. i created in my connections tab an ethernet ip driver , hoping i can see my compact logix plc. but i am unable to see it. in the devices and networks , what do i select to be able to see the compact logix???? hmi or tcp- what type of connection do i need-

You would have to enter the tagnames manually - use symbolic name of AB-PLC-tag in column address of the HMI-tag (access mode: absolute access). Regards, Frink
