TIA portal flashing background active

This is not a problem in standalone WinCC. There is a manual how to do that: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109477575 However, this option seems to be missing in TOA v17 WinCC. Basically I need a simple circle to start flashing background between white and green if (TAG1 or TAG2) is true. But I cannot find this in the animated property list as shown in the attached file. Hazard_7 Advanced Member Joined: 5/30/2022 Last visit: 4/25/2025 Posts: 634 Rating: (103)	Hi Jasner, if they are PLC variables I recommend you to perform the following logic, if TAG_1 or TAG_2 are active activate a tag, assign that tag to an HMI variable and perform the following programming: Remember before to activate the flashing option in the object properties: Flashing

I did a little test and it works as you have described: Property of the circle: Animation of the flashing: -> so the circle only flashes from white to green if one of the two bool tags is true (OR) Works in simulation Bye Murof

For the Circle object, this is missing and just called flashing. Really weird, but anyway I managed to get what I wanted. Thanks for the help Attachment TIA_WinCC_Flashing_Logic.png (287 Downloads)
