Hello, Kindly find attached file. 1-If "IM151-3 PN" damaged and replace it with a new one,we should assign its IP address to it or it's no need for it? 2- Assign IP addess can be done by TIAV11or V12 or V13 regardless which version of TIA used in programming the CPU? Hello, 1) if you use the option "support device replacement without exchangeable medium" on the controller then the controller can set the specific device adress if you change the damaged device. And on the device the Option "Assign IP adress via IO Controller" must be activated. 2) yes the Version of TIA is not relevant for this. You can also use other tools to do the job if TIA is not installed:ProNeta,Primary Setup Tool,SIMATIC Automation Tool. Regards Christoph
