TIA portal ordering number

bermuda Posts: 151 Rating: (3)	hello. I'm new in TIA Portal. I want to order TIA Portal package but i have some question! As i know Siemens released TIA portal after step7 v5.5 and wincc v7. i know the latest version of step7 and wincc is v11. But i don't know is TIA portal package consists of wincc v11 and step7 v11? orwe should buy wincc v11 and step7 v11 seperately! i want to know what pachage of TIA portal do i have to order for programming s7-300, 400 and also 1200 and for monitoring with wincc.

Denilson Pegaia Platinum Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 3/14/2025 Posts: 4406 Rating: (1475)	Hi, TIA portal could not be ordered, like "SIMATIC Manager" for STEP 7 5.x. If you install some package (STEP7, WinCC, StartDriver, etc.) the TIA Portal comes automatically toghether.

If you want to use other panels or Runtime, you need WinCC V11: Delivery release SIMATIC WinCC V11 Best regards, Wizard

As i read support page, we can use step7 v11 professional sp2 for s7-1200 plcs through s7-300 and 400. so do i need to order step7 basic too?! does step7 basic removed from siemens tia portal? if the question is no please tell me why!
