Hi, I'm refreshing topic. I have a the same problem which was described in topic name. After installation basic software TIA Portal V11.0 BASIC from DVD it was no problem with program work. But I need a SP 2 to TIA cause i,m working on project with colegue, and he has a TIA BASIC with SP 2 and UPDT 5. So i downloaded these packages from support site and installed SP 2 at first. After that, when i tried to switch between portal view and project view TIA crashed. I thought UPDT 5 schuld help, but even to close. then i uninstalled all, and installed again, and.... nothing. It still crashing. Next i repeated all procedure two times more, with all tips finded in that topic. Nothing helped. If any body can say somthing new i would be greatful. below i put logs from installation based software and SP 2. In log i found for ex. information about to less RAM memory (1 GB), but it isn't true, cause in the PCis 2 GB installed. Next ex. from logs is about DCOM rights, log says that i have no access to DCOM, but it too false, cause i have full rights to access (administration). So as you see, i can't define which problems are true or false. AttachmentInstallation logs.zip (356 Downloads) |

Hello, the switch between portal and project view in STEP 7 (TIA Portal) is a basic function and should be possible without crashed and error messages. Also without SP2 and updates. I think there is an incompatibility between STEP 7 (TIA Portal) V11 and Windows or with an other software product. See also the FAQ (link) with the recommends for installation of TIA Portal. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/50204569 With best regards |
