I believe it is 21 day of unlimited use for the trial so you can properly evaluate the software. The only difference is what happens on day 22 if no license is applied to keep it running.

Afterthen you need the Floating License (Unlimited use on any one computer or through the network). After complete deinstallation and new installation of STEP 7 V11 software you can use the trial license perhaps again. But I recommend to install STEP 7 (TIA Portal) V13 and use the trial version of V13: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/78793685 With best regards Cicero
