Tia Portal V13.0 SP5 HMI Compile Error

trakyy Experienced Member Joined: 8/11/2011 Last visit: 11/27/2023 Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	Hi all, I have a warning when i compile the hmi project, like this : "Internal WARNING (detail: direct relation from PS_BorderedShape_Shadow {15733010-7173} to object {15733011-7174} was skipped, failed to get target object key from target id)" Before my last compile, i removed some images from project graphics. This warning appeared after that removal, but it does not navigate me to the faulty tag. I dont know which graphic cause to this warning. Can anyone help? Thanks.

A screenshot of the error may help resolve the problem. As a last resort, copy to a new project and delete the screens one at a time until it compiles. That will tell you which screen (most recent deleted screen). Now copy that screen from your real project to the copy and begin deleting items one at a time until it compiles. That's the object.

When i double click on the warning, a window appears and says :The object to which "Go to" refers cannot be found. Either the object has been deleted or the link is broken. "Go to" can therefore not be used here. Here is the screenshot. Isn't it a bug? I thing it should help me to find the problem, but it does not... Thank you a lot, i m waitng your answer... 0_Einstein Diamond Member Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 1/17/2025 Posts: 15541 Rating: (2465)	My last resort option will work and will probably be faster than using Support Requestand sending Siemens your project to find the problem. I would probably still send them my project so they can fix itin future portal updates. Hey, they might even point out the problem right away and help you figure it out yourself if it happens again when you choose to go deleting things without deleting the objects they are used in first. It is better from my experience to delete the screens and objects from screens, then find images that are not used anywhere, then delete only those unused items. I think that method is what Siemens anticipates and so they add options to support it.

So it doens not work, because it doesnt related with the screens in my opinion. Ok, perhaps you have a template image that was removed? I still suggest sending it to Siemens support. I would imagine they see this type of problem often enough.

When the warning was still available, did you compile the project using "Rebuild All"? So the whole project will be compiled in stead off only the changes! Best regards, Wizard

Then I just used "Rebuid ALL" option when compiling the SOFTWARE ONLY in my project and above mentioned warning disappeared Don't forget to rate if my message was usefull
