TIA PORTAL V13 and KTP 700 diferent firmware

Hello friends,

Yesterday I was triying to load my HMI application from Win CC TIA PORTAL V 13 to KTP 700 DP (6AV2 123-2GA03-0AX0) basic panel. When I started the process, the software compile the project and then appear a message related with some difference between the firmware of  my panel and maybe the TIA PORTAL, "on the target device components is installed a different version" and then the load fail.

¿What is the correct way to load? ..

I think that I've  the last version on my TIA PORTAL V 13 (13.0.0.3), is necesary update my panel?

How I can update the firmware? It is the Operative system?

Other external question, ¿What is Basic_Panel_V13_SP1_OSS_Archives?

If the firmware in the HMI is Different from that of the project, the TIA portal will have to perform an OS Update. Now in case of OS Update through MPI, it can take upto 2 hours or more depending on the MPI Baud rate & Image Size. The latest firmware for the HMI device KTP 700 Basic DP is v13.0.1.0 as of TIA V13 SP1 Update 9.

As for accelerating the process, I recommend to Make a Pack & Go file.

Then Extract the Pack & Go file & find Firmware file *.fwf in the directory. Copy it to a USB (Preferably Empty & in FAT32 format) and Connect to the HMI. Now in HMI Settings, You will have option for Device maintenance, Go to OS update.

It will find the image in the USB & will update in 10 seconds or less.

After that you can use the Pack & go file to transfer the Image via MPI. Make Sure Communication settings are proper & PC Adapter(MPI) selected in PG-PC Interface.

 Many thanks Mr KaushalKumarJoshi, actually my panel has a 13.00.01.06_02.01 Image version,  my TIA panel project is 13.0.0.3 version, and my SIMATIC WINCC Professional is V13.00.00.06_02.01.00.01 version. Do you recommend me to upgrade my WINCC to the latest version?

Try to check the Check Boxes that appear when the Transfer window opens and then Refresh button, If the Load Button is enabled then you don't have to Upgrade your software.

The Pack & Go method I use is just to accelerate the OS update procedure which is very time consuming in DP/MPI Subnets. In Profinet Systems, it is much faster with TIA.

you have to select below Image bath.and copy to the USB and Update it

related to the same problem form Martinez. i have nearly the same message when i try to download the modification program with TIA portal 13 (KTP700 mobile).

what will happen if i mark the selection (Fit) and (Downgrade) and press load after that?

is this affect any data (delete) on the (KTP 700 mobile)?

 I have the same problem and already I did os update then I have this message:loading will not be performed because precondition are not met
