TIA Portal V17 compatibility with TP 700 Comfort

U_d524ebdf-2b05-4... Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I seem to not able to upgrade a ap15.1 file to TIA v17 with a pop up message " The TP700 comfort device is no longer support , 12.0.0." Is there any solution to upgrade my file from V15.1 to V17 TIA portal.

Check this FAQ: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109754931 --> I cannot believe that the V15..1 project has a Comfort Panel with a V12 image integrated. This is only possible up to TIa v14. The Image Version is too old. It has to be opened with the last version in which you have worked on it then change the Image Version of the HMi to the latest version and then you can also migrate to the newer TIA version. Cocolino Silver Member Joined: 4/8/2021 Last visit: 4/25/2025 Posts: 640 Rating: (113)	Hi, It seems that the TP700 Comfort with FW version 12.0.0 is not longer supported as of TIA Portal V17. In this case I think the solution could be: 1. Open the TIA Portal V15.1 project and change the FW version (right click on the panel project in the project tree on the right) to V15.1 2. Save the project. 3. Open the project with V17. Br.

(Change Image in V15.1 to V15.1 and then you can also migrate to V17) Bye Murof
