  I am using TIA v15.1 and WINCC prof. In WINCC prof I am working on SCADA. while access the ActiveX container add/remove tool TIA portal goes error and closed. I tried so many times same problem repeating.

I once had an issue when adding a control for PM-Quality. The solution (service request) was to install the TrueTypeFonts (see WinCC DVD\Support\Fonts). Maybe this helps in your case, too.

do you have Update 5 installed? If not install it and try again.
