TIA Protal V13 SP1 - WinCC 'Ungroup' function not working

Dear all,

I'm working with TIA Portal WinCC Advanced V13 SP1 Upd3.  TP1200 Comfort panel. 

During the HMI design, I have used the standard 'Group' function after selecting several screen objects.

However, for no obvious reason, I cannot 'Ungroup' some of the groups I've created. 

This is not for every group that I've created.  Some groups of objects do ungroup as expected.

The 'Edit Group' function always works.

There are no errors reported when an 'Ungroup' command is unsuccessful.

A full recompilation doesn't help.

Seems like a clear example of a bug in TIA Portal????

I've noticed this bug for a while now, but it is now becoming quite a problem while using TIA Portal.

Has anyone else seen this?

Update. 

Closing the project fully, and then reopening the project, then allows the group to be 'Ungrouped'.

here is another solution for the "ungroup" bug. It seems to work well and should be faster.

Nice tip HJ, I'll certainly give that one a try.  Why closing blocks down should affect the HMI, it doesn't make any logical sense.

I guess that is what we expect from TIA Portal though!

I'm sure that all the bugs will be eliminated in TIA Portal V14 (When it ever finally arrives...) ;-)

I've just tried the closing all blocks trick and it works !!

Who would have thought one thing could affect the other.

TIA Portal at its best.
