TIA Simulator

soju Posts: 69 Rating: (2)	Hello All, Just a small question..... I worked with Simantic manager till this day and it is having a very good simulator for checking our programs. I am planing to buy the TIA software soon. I just want to know whether the simulator option is possible in TIA V 11 for both S7-300 and S7-1200. Thanks, Soju Sonny Mathew

Helo soju, You are right, in STEP 7 Professional v11 you have a PLCSIM. This PLCSIM can be used with S7-300 CPU / S7-400 CPU / ET 200 CPU / WinAC, but not with S7-1200. But still in most of the times you can copy the blocks from S7-1200 to S7-300 and do simulate. Please take care that there are few instructions of S7-1200 are not supported in S7-300. Hope we get a new PLCSIM in furture for S7-1200 too.
