TIA V11 uninstall problem with Windows 8

I could not get the communications to the PLC to work so I uninstalled it. After uninstall,I loose theoption to uninstall (under Control Panel)but TIA is still present in Windows 8, and it still works. I've tried re-installing TIA to then uninstall it, but the same happened, it spends time uninstalling, but TIA is still installed but the uninstall option disappears. How can I uninstall TIA from Windows 8???? Thanks

How can I uninstall TIA from Windows 8???? Thanks Try the heavy-handed approach of using a restore point and restore to the point just before you installed the portal software. I did that to fix a usb driver problem once (bad unsigned driver -> bad user).
