TIA V12, Window to selecting data block tags

Me i have Tia portal pro V12 installed and have the following problem with sample project filling station.

On page 84 step 10 of the manual says: "press the "return key" to confirm the selection of the "Global_DB". A window now opens for selecting data block tags witch have already created.".

But once i done with step 9 and press the return key nothing happens, is someone who can help me with this?

I think I'm too unfamiliar with the project and GRAPH, sorry.

You should ask the question in another part of the forum: "Industrial Software > STEP 7 (TIA Portal)".
There your question is found by the experts for programming in the PLC

You use an example for V11 in V12, it could be that the handling changed slightly and pressing enter isn't the correct way anymore.

• Did you create the "Global_DB" as described in some chapter before? It has to contain some tags. How should the system be able to give you selection options if there is nothing to select?
• What happens if you click on ">>" on the right side of the "Global-DB" selection in step 9?
• Try typing the tag name like seen in "Result" (after step 13). After Writing "Global_DB". there might be a selection opening for the tags in "Global_DB". The dot is important here. You have to write it after the part in " " because it usually triggers the context menu.
  

 Hallo H.J. thanks i review the program and i found a type fault in tags. sorry for the late reaction but so busy with work too...at this moment i reach the visualisation part of the program and is going fine so far.

 Hallo, u mention that u are not familiar with graph. do u have expiriance with creating programs in S7 manager in LAD for expample from A to Z? i am searching a sample program(s) en manuals to be able to create one.
