TIA V13 SP1, IEC_TIMER and TON_TIME not working like expected

You have used the Instance data block of the timer to restart it.

It is not recommended to use the instance datablock to read the output of the timer you shoud attach the output to another tag in the memory as below.

Anyway the behavior shown by you happens only when you DO NOT access Q or ET outs at all. So, it's misleading but acceptable behavior. In real life application using timers without accessing its outputs is pointless.

This is not true. If you access the Q output somewhere else in the program with e.g. #Ton_1.Q it still doesn't work. You have to tag to the Q output directly on the output of the TON block.

I don't have a 1200 CPU on my desk. But the PLCSIM executes it as I described.

It would be interesting to see screenshot from a real CPU.
