Hello i was able to migrate the wincc 2008 sp5 project using the migration tool. however when I try to completed the migration process I get this error

According to the error message, you have used the V14 SP1 migration tool to convert to the migration file format. However, you are trying to use this file with TIA Portal V14. Migration is only possible if the migration tool and TIA Portal are of the same version.

Due to the discontinuation of TIA Portal V14, you can't download the required version from the Online Support. However, you will find the migration tool on every STEP7 Prof / WinCC Comfort / WinCC Adv. or WinCC Prof. DVD in the folder Support/SIMATIC_Migration_Tool_TIA_Vxxxx.exe. Otherwise you can create a new support request and ask for a download option.
