Hi dear all,

I use TIA v17 and I run the PLC program in PLCSim Advanced 5.0. Now that I want to connect physical KP300 to this system.

I have assigned IP adress and profinet name and downloaded the hmi program thru network .I also can ping the KP300. (please see attached screenshots)

However, I can not see hmi tag values on the KP300. It shows #####. Any ideas on problem?

Dear Wizard, thanks for the document supplied. However, the document gives information mainly on simulated HMIs. The scenario that i work on is a simulated PLC with PLCsim (on laptop) and a real KP300 Basic Panel Mono (connected to the network with the laptop).

PS: KP300 Basic Mono Panels cannot be simulated :( no such property.

Information for those interested:

No matter how I try, it was not possible to establish PLC communication between a real KP300 panel and s7-1500 CPU in PLCSim Advanced5.0. (using TIA Portal V17 SP7)

Therefore, I changed the environment and made my test with a real CPU 1513-1 and a real KP300. The test was concluded without problem.
