i have a GE Versamax PLC which have a modbus rtu communication port and I have a ktp 1200 basic dp which also supports modbus rtu.

i need to connect the plc with this HMI but the problem now is that i can't find a communication driver for ge plcs on tia portal v14. i already installed a support package for modbus rtu standard but when it comes to tags  i find the addresses available is general modbus addresses such as 0x1 2x1,2,3 and so on.

so i need the communication driver for ge with tia portal.

can anyone help please.

There is a Modbus RTU driver integrated in WinCC v14 that you could probably use. Modbus communications are generally independant of the manufacturer of the device.

The manuaI have is for WinCC v14 SP1, if you have a different version look it up in the online help.

actually i have looked on this manual but let me clear it more. 

in the attached photos it shows the installed modbus rtu driver and the available tags addresses. 

can you clarify how to insert my ge tags ?
