tim3v-ie slot rules.please help

mpho mathuba Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	hello everyone i was readingthe manual for ST7 and it says very clearly that "no slot rules apply" for the TIM 3V-IE.The problem i have now is that i only have one slot left on my rack which is slot3. But now when i try to insert the TIMinto this last slot i get a message saying "the module can be inserted only in slots 4 to 11". Am i misunderstanding the meaning of "no slot rules apply"? Please help!!!

RajD Advanced Member Joined: 8/2/2010 Last visit: 4/1/2024 Posts: 45 Rating: (1)	Hi, Your slot no 3 is not empty. Usally The CPU take two slaots i.e slot 2&3. But in hard ware it appears in slot 2 only. So you have to remove one module & insert TIM 3 V IE in main rack Thanks
