Time-of-Day Synchronization between CPU 314C-2 DP and CP 343-1, NTP Mode.

Pacanins Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	I have a CPU 314C-2DP, 6ES7 314-6CF01-0AB0, with Clock Synchronization type None in the PLC; and the CP 343-1, 6GK7 343-1EX20-0XE0, with NTP mode activated. The NTP server synchronizes OK with the CP 343-1. However, the CPU 314C-2 DP does not follow the time corrections. Question: How do I get the time from the CP343-1 to the CPU? I want the CPU to follow the time from the CP.

I confirmed two things with the FAQ number 18130164 1- You do not have to set up the properties of the CPU 314-2C For slave or Master time Synchronization. (There is no need to configure time-of-day synchronization for the S7-300 CPU.) 2- The CP 343-1 has to be 6GK7 343-1EX21-0XE0V 1.0 or higher. This must be the problem. Thank you again!
