Time outs on the network with WinCC.

A few times a day there is no connections for some milli seconds to several seconds,Now we want to know the following: What time outs are permitted with a WinCC-417 connection? and what with a WinCC-server- Multi-client connection (V6)? What can be said about the functionality of alarmlogging/taglogging and reading writing tags within scripts etc.? Is there some kind of parameter to configure when having a unstable network? So can I set this parameter to e.g. 2 seconds? What official documentation is there on this subject? A lot of questions, hope some one has experience on this subject[:D] Thanks in advance, Jaap

Unfortunately I couldn´t find a document concerning time outs.... http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21320307 But perhaps you canuse the smart tool "WinCC Communication Configuration" / channel diagnose ? => you can find more about this in your WinCC online help > smart tools. And check the WinCC release notes > Network Technology and UPS > ... as well nemo
