Please clarify your question. Do you want to use a time of day for when an input is triggered or for when the hardware config was changed or something else? |

So I understand that without ET200M,I couldn't use time stamp in input module.Am I right? |

Yes, you have to use ET200M but the point is (IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO IT WITH S7-300?). According to this FAQ, it is only possible with S7-400 but if you take a look at ET200M manual which you can find in Dchartier's replyto this thread, you will find that you can use precise time stamping feature outside S7-400 with a CPU with integrated DP clock master but it's not stated clearly that it can be S7-300 CPU (Page 127/290). I hope one of the forum's experts would tell us if it is possible or not. |
