Time sync problem with basic panel

v_nemec Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Dear sirs, I've got problem with time sync using area pointers. I'm using tia portal V11 VP2 update 4, have plc S7-315-2 PN/DP and basic panel TP1500. I've got completly new project with only OB1 and DB1, using just block for system time reading, did everything as described here: https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objid=39182145&caller=view I can see the time from plc is correctly in the tag, but system time of that damned panel is still unchanged. Can anyone help me pls? Could the problem be in Date_and_Time data typy in PLC (S7-300 has DT not the DTL)?

Which functions are available in STEP 7 V5.5 and in TIA Portal V11 for processing the data types DT and DTL? how do you synchronize the date and time between an operator panel and an S7-300/S7-400 controller with WinCC flexible? v_nemec Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello Wizard, thanks for the links, but I already saw them, I tried uploading new firmware into S7-300 (version 3.2.7), but it's still the same, Siemens support said the program is ok. I'm getting mad and have lost so much time with that damned clocks. Any other ideas than destroying the panel? I'm attaching the project in case someone will be so nice to check it. adamgresch Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Did you ever figure this out? I have a TP1500 Basic Panel connected to a S7-400 CPU. I cannot get the time right on the panel alarms for the life of me. I dont understand why something as simple as a clock is so hard to do.
