How it is possible to synchronize directly a Simotion D4x5-2 with a time server (NTP service)

and is there a similar function as S7-300 "BT_LT" ('Convert base time to local time')

including the daylight time control ?

Elsif i use an open TCP/IP  communication ?

I know that ntp server usually use UDP protocol and port number 123.

So i think it is possible to ask directly the ntp server by open TCP/IP connection on the server adress,

but i don't know if i need to send something to ask or if the server sends directly the UTC time (or something like that).

else do you know a function to replace  "BT_LT" ('Convert base time to local time') into Simotion ?

_udpSend() - with the good structure for the ntp(or sntp) server

_udpReceive()

I've tried to incorporate your source code in my application and failed to compile, because the referenced unit "CFG_VAR" is missing.

By any chance, could you also provide the relevant code to compile your unit "TimeSync_NTPServer"?

And also, does the NTP sync still work properly for you?

sorry for the delay.

For the "CFG_VAR" missing, it's because i declare my IP configuration in an other source.

So i attach the structure "s_CFG_CommIP" and view of the value of my IP configuration for NTP server

It work properly in my application
