Hello All,

We are using CPU 414-5 H PN/DP Redundant PLC with CP 443-1 Advanced module. My PLC is communicating directly from the NTP server and synchronizing with the NTP time. 

Now I need to send the PLC time to my Engineering station (Two CP 1623 cards are used in ES) which is connected to CP 443-1 GBIT port through Ethernet HUB. I done the settings in the CP 443-1 module to forward the time. (Screenshot attached)

I done the settings also in the CP1623 as slave (Screenshot attached).

I tried all the time synchronization settings in Wincc and the synchronization does not work still. When I set the "Synchronization Via System Bus", I am getting an alarm message CP123 can not receive time signal.

I tried to take the time from the another computer on the network and it worked. I request for any suggestion to set the time of computer from the CP443-1 module.

I already gone through the link and done the same setting as mentioned. Still the time sync is not working.

It is mentioned in the last point "The time-of-day synchronization is not automatically transmitted or received by the PC. This has to be realized in the form of an application that writes the time via function calls or reads it from the CP." What does it mean?

Should we need to do some other settings?
