Im currently having a big problem with time synchronization on my system. I have two redundant servers, a redundant H-system, CPU 417-4h, and a client. i am using CP-1613 cards for communications. As it stands i have configured the system exactly as per the manual but the only thing thats synchornizing is the primary server and the client. the secondary server and the AS are doing their own thing. if i take down the active server the clients time will jump to the backup servers but this is different to the primary.

one error im getting when i do a download on my OS is -configured device name for the time synchronization does not agree with pc install.

Any suggestions? Ive already checked that the PC names are correct etc

i am not looking to make one of the CPU's the time master it wouold be preferable if the servers did this and sent the time to the PLC's?
