Timer problem in Ladder Programming

Thanks in advance for your help. 

I am experimenting with a wye/delta motor starter.  I am having a little difficulty making the change to function block programming.  I tried to do the ladder diagram programming in logosoft comfort 8.2.  When I insert a timer into my ladder there is no output,Q, on the timer block.  I want to energize I1 and have Q1 and Q2 energize.  After 2 seconds, I want Q3 to energize and de-energize Q2.  I don't seem to have an output on my timer 001 to connect to Q3.

Any help would be appreciated.

if you don't know how to program in LAD, why you use LAD and not FBD?

For beginners FBD in much easier.
