I have a TON_TIME and use it like this (S7-1500, SCL): #T_ON( IN:=#QON_DELAY, PT:=#DELAY_T_ON, ET=>#QDELAY_T_ON); I always thought that the T_ON.PT is always equal to the input (here DELAY_T_ON). But the PT value is only equal to DELAY_T_ON when there is a pulse at IN. If the timer is running, changing DELAY_T_ON doesn't affect PT. How is it possible that PT is not the same as DELAY_T_ON when I connect both in the function call? There is also a ST parameter (datatype: time), which probably belong to the static part of the interface. What does this ST parameter mean?

You have to know that, the timer save the PT and will works with this like a memory, so the timer only will take the new PT value when finish the process with your old PT Could you specify more your problem? Bofely Posts: 123 Rating: (5)	I want the timer function to always use the PT time that I give at the function call, in the example above that is #DELAY_T_ON. This is the behavior that I expect, because it works like this in the S7-300. In S7-1500 PLC the behavior of the timer function is a bit different. To have the same behavior as the S7-300 PLC you have to use the function PRESET_TIMER. So you can use it like this: [code]PRESET_TIMER( PT :=#DELAY_T_ON, TIMER :=#T_ON ); #T_ON( IN :=#QON_DELAY, PT :=#DELAY_T_ON, ET =>#QDELAY_T_ON ); [/code] What I don't understand is that I connect the PT parameter with DELAY_T_ON variable at function call, but PT only update at a certain condition (a pulse at IN paramter). How is this even possible?
