Timers and counter help for newbie

Hello Everyone, hope you are all ok 

I'm looking for some advice.

Could somebody explain the best way to create an adjustable timer and counter program to control an output on my LOGO 0BA8?

I would like to be able to control:

How long the output is on for (between 0-10 seconds)

How long the output is off for (between 2-180 seconds)

How many on/off cycles are performed before the program comes to a stop (between 0-10 cycles).

Ideally, I would like to control these timings using 8 pushbuttons as inputs:

I1= on time up

I2= on time down

I3 =off time up

I4= off time down

I5= cycle count up

I6= cycle count down

I7= program start

I8= program stop/reset

I've been trying different approaches, but I'm getting tied up in knots using timers, and as I am a beginner, I think I must be missing something obvious.

Any help greatly appreciated.
