IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (999)	Palestine fritz Thank you all over again, the FB is working, not exactly like i want.check the attached picture, in the standers that i know we use for each digital input the block in the picture,we enter only the time, there is no need for an address for the timer -like the S5Timer for example - for each time you call a the block. You know my problem that i worked on anothertype of PLC for along time and now i am trying to implement the standersi know on SIEMENS PLC. IBN-Service thank you but i am sorry to say that i don't know what is the DBD i am going to look for it and learn about it. one more thing, when i build a block some times i needsome temp variables, i have to give it an address for each function call,so youhave an input/output variables appears at the function callthat you don't need. Dear Palestine, like fritz already marked, your programming language seem not to be the simatic manager. What kind of software / hardware you are using? Your question: A DBD is a data double word. I.e.: DB1.DBD100 means: Datadoubleword No. 100 inside Datablock 1.

I do not have enough experience (In both PLC's) to judge which one is better - that was not my aim - what i really mean, i was forced to start a newplant with aSIEMENS PLC,and you can't imagine how much i was so happy that i will finally work with SIEMENS products. Note: in my country i've never met some buddyknows how toprogram in Modicon PLC's, some times i feel that i am the only one like Wall-E. the most popular one is SIEMENS, in our planwehave only two Modicon PLC's (My responsibility) and the reset of them (maybe 6) areSIEMENS. so again my problem that i have to learn to program in SIEMENS PLC only in two month. Iam alone, the only one how can help is you and the guys in this forum. and i am so sorry if i was not polite in my questions.
