Hi,

The use of PN/PN Coupler is frequently used in communication between controllers that should have no direct connection. E.g. the configuration is simple, doesn’t require blocks call in user program.

Attached, there is two casts that show how to configure it in TIA V15 when the controllers (S7-1200) are in a same project or when they are in different projects.

TIPs:

• An input byte could be set to give diagnose information. This byte is located in the first input byte of the controller. The first bit of this byte = True indicate that the data is valid.
